Love how she said "only some people get side effects" from what i see almost everyone does it's just that most people stay on them to avoid the side effects, im on my third attempt trying to get off them this is criminal
The dr put me in two lots of anti depressants but actually 8 years later im 4 stone over weight, sleep 15 hours a day and still depressed. I just stopped i was on duloxatjne 90ml and quetiapine 50ml. Bastard awful. 4 weeks on horrific suicidal thoughts, dizzy, palpatations, nausea, fear, doom, aches pains etc etc Never go on them they are pure evil. The mhs is useless and broken. No help, no cpn, no councilling. Turns out i had endimetriosis, scoliosis, menieres disease, chronic rhinitis, migrated filshie clips that tire my fallopian tubes apart, punctured my diaphragm and for 8 years been ripping my abdomin apart. Then my brother died at 50 12 days later my mum died. I snapped, i asked for help, got sectioned, and the social services took away my kid. Got no friends or family. Im scared shitless. Still no help. Wtf.

I accidentally went off fluoxetine completely last week after forgetting to take that med on vacation. I had already tapered down to 3-4 doses per week prior. At present, I don't feel any adverse effects. I'm hoping not to restart.
I just never felt okay

All od the reasons of these kinds of disorders is being away from Allah.Praying is the best medicine for keeping soul and mental health in good condition
mania does feel like hyper abilities and i think of them as such. even a balanced, well medicated version of myself understands i can do certain things non-bipolar ppl cant and thats whats gives me the “divine purpose” so to speak
its funny how they all say - talk to your doctor. lol. bitch, the doctor cant be seen in person here, they just call you when you beg anf give you a prescription without seeing you or sending you to anyone else but gp which stands for "google professional"
Some illnesses are not always seen, therefore some disabilities are blind. Like myself having bipolar. I do not look like it. My mind is like a horrific battlefield. Im left exhausted still in bed for days now. I come out shining as a non union actress & model grandchildren and children. I choose suffer in silence not wanting to bother anybody with how much I do suffer minute after minute hour after hour. It’s really preventing from living a normally life. As much as I am aware I have much to loved ones being beautiful is not enough. My mind makes my life ugly. I look forward to to just end of my racing exhausting mind. I feel dead already inside. Bipolar depression is God awful and I wouldn’t want to wish it upon anyone ever.😢
I could remember several years ago, I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with BPD. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
Hey! Yes Dr.medshrooms
Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
I take the antidepressant medication Proxat. Do I stop taking it and go back to normal for a few days or do I sit like this forever?
Antidepressants are the worst they made me worse
Thank you
coming off of antidepressant is the worst. i was on citalopram 20 mg for 10 months, went down to 10 mg for a month and then 5mg for 2 weeks and 2.5 for 2 weeks. I was told by GP that 10mg is the lowest dose and I can stop taking them. Everytime I stopped taking 10mg I would get horrible brain zaps, fatigue and crazy mood swings. Even after I stopped 2.5mg, I had horrible headaches, blood glucose levels and stress levels went up for 2 weeks straight. I can still feel the lingering negative affect such as headaches today. please be careful when starting these drugs
I tapered my dose down from 50mg over the course of a month and a half. Im 4 days off zoloft now and definitely having brain zaps, some heart palpitations, dizziness but its not terrible, at least not yet,
How long did the dizziness last
@@uzmanausheen5475 not long. Maybe a week. Felt perfect for a month and a half and then boom panic attack out of nowhere, blood pressure through the roof, pressure in my face and neck, tension headaches. Now I'm back on this fkn pill and I guess I'll just stay on forever, yay.
“You believe you’re on an important mission” lol yeah that’s everyone’s subjective experience. What soundtrack is playing in your life where you’re the main character?
15months post a 2years taper and things barely got better
When you are living in past, you're in depression. When you are living in future, you're in anxiety. When you are living in present, you're in peace.

Withdrawals from antidepressants Can be truly awful
What kind of shitty video is this, learn to live a happy life? Who wrote this? Someone that doesn’t suffer from bpd obviously
Get your friends and Family!!!!!!! Are ya having a laugh. Noone wants to know. They get sick of you ... I tell noone now. Absolutely noonecabd in a strange way its made me stronger 💪
i need someone to talk regarding my disorder.... can someone help please
now i don't know whether i have adhd or bipolar, i relate both to them especially bipolar, can someone explain to me pls
Bipolar disorder is not severe mood swings. Bipolar disorder is severe mood fluctuation over time. Bipolar one is specifically defined by mania and depression but sometimes only mania. And bipolar 2 is severe depression with hypomania. Severe mood swings is borderline personality disorder.
I ran out of antidepressants this week. And i can tell you its been the utmost difficult week ive had.All those feelings ths the pills numb are back but so much stronger. And the worst is i cant explain why im sad or why im angry. But i got my pills and hopefully i feel better soon. Anyone who goes through this just know your not alone.❤
That dog is going to make me go mentally insane i swear
May I translate it and share here in Brazil? I can do that and credit it to you.
brain zaps !!
I regret ever seeking help for depression because everything I’ve tried hasn’t worked and I’m more depressed than before ever starting any treatment. Getting off each one is hell, living this life is hell. Nothing helps it Pills are big pharma and doctor’s ways of keeping a customer / patient for life. Especially with a widespread issue like depression. It numbs the emotions and thoughts so you just don’t attach to reality as much and sure it just numbs the feelings but it’s no cure. The pharmaceutical companies want you to keep buying their product, and keep customers returning. I’ve had a dmt experience that has made me realize a lot, and after this I have decided to not try to medicate the depression away anymore and I’m currently on Mirtazapine and coming off this feeling rebound depression and anxiety it’s truly hell. Society has modelled people to live in a perpetual cycle of abuse anger and suffering which we pass on to the weak, creating such mental health epidemics worldwide
I totally agree. Doctors who prescribe these medications know they are getting you hooked on something that will be very very difficult to withdraw from. They should be forced by law to disclose this information before ever handing out a single pill.
Im suffering for months from anhedonia & avolition from withdrawal from Effexor. This is after a month of hell from discontinuation. This crap damages ur brain. AD meds r neurotoxins.
1 Recovery from Forced #Psychiatry Now that I've recovered from forced psychiatry, a plethora of psychiatrists who had retaliated desisted. I was experimented on by Dr. Richard Miller at the Wheeler Clinic in Plainville, Connecticut from 5th grade until graduation in 2005. Autism (more specifically, Asperger's syndrome) made me an easy target. I was forcibly drugged to pull out my hair and fall asleep, then sent to detention for suffering from forced psychiatry; hence exacerbated Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I wasn't allowed to taper off of pharmaceuticals when I graduated, I suffered withdrawal symptoms and was tortured. I was sent from Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington, Connecticut to New Britain General Hospital in New Britain, Connecticut. Dr. Michael Edward Balkunas misdiagnosed Autism and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as "bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and schizophrenia" or something like that without meeting me or corresponding with me. He vowed revenge because medicinal cannabis reduces the harm caused by forced psychiatry. Community Mental Health Affiliates exacerbated Post Traumatic Stress Disorder by forcibly drugging me and forcing me into hospitals. I was denied assistance attending college. I was also abused at Bristol Hospital Counseling Center. Susanne Wargo forced me to take Xanax and I had a seizure from misplacing it. The staff at Bristol Hospital claimed the cause of the seizure was "undetermined" and I was abused in the psychiatric ward. Dr. Nachiappan Manoharan (sp) threatened forced injections of Zyprexa to cause diabetes, pancreatitis, and heart attacks, thus death; that's attempted murder. Barbara Braunstein falsely accused me of using illicit narcotics whilst knowing I was forcibly prescribed drugs to cause drowsiness and threatened to drug test me. This person "worked" at the same location where I was forcibly drugged. The threat to drug test me was probably a bluff. Margaret Pienezak of Community Mental Health Affiliates caused an anxiety attack by threatening to commit me after I was nearly murdered, falsely accused of being a "sex offender" because I'm an easy target. Dr. John A. Nazarian sent Margaret Pienezak and Michael Higgassin (sp?) to lie under oath knowing they'd get away with perjury. Attorney Katrina Camera was appointed as Conservator without grounds. Alice Martinez of the Department of Public Health lied about why I reported CMHA. It had nothing to do with not prescribing cannabis, I reported violations such as misdiagnoses and forced drugging. The DPH retaliated by encouraging torture. CMHA retaliated by sending me to Connecticut Valley Hospital in 2015. No risk factors were identified. I was discharged when housing was available about 4 months later. I was sent to the Continuum of Care. I was then subjected to Leann Farley's cruelty. I nearly went blind from excessive lights and I got underweight because staff members bullied me for eating. Leann retaliated by not allowing use of the stove at night since I had to hide to eat. July 2022 I fear for my life because it's in the hands of criminally negligent Attorney Katrina Camera, appointed in 2014. Dr. John A. Nazarian of Community Mentak Health Affiliates, a hate group, vowed revenge and meant it. He lied about why I reported him. It had nothing to do with what he doesn't prescribe. I knew I'd recover from pharmaceuticals if they were tapered. Nazarian doesn't allow recovery, hence the Conservator. A Probate Judge broke the law and he has since retired. Margaret Pienezak of CMHA caused anxiety by threatening to commit me for being assaulted over a false rumour. I was nearly murdered for being falsely accused of being a "sex offender" since I'm an easy target. I had to get out of CMHA to recover from forced drugging. CMHA's staff members lied about why I reported them. The Department of Public Health retaliated. Since 2015, Continuum of Care has abused me. Due to photophobia (i.e. light sensitivity,) from autism, my eyes hurt from being constantly subjected to bright lights while trapped in an improper setting. Continuum of Care an agency claiming to ""rebuild lives", employs negligent staff without any certifications. They're in it for an easy paycheck. I pleaded with them to stop allowing a bully to destroy my belongings. They hid in the office. They tried and failed to commit me for being harassed by a bully they forced me to reside with. I'm still a hostage since I don't choose where to reside. I finally moved out of that place, still trapped in the Continuum of Care. My own $ would be withheld if I discharged myself. Ppl with autism are under attack and expected to not defend ourselves. The Department of Public Health would probably retaliate if I reported said violations. Continuum of Care continues escalating its violations. As for why said scam still occurs, laws against such abuses are unenforced. A staff member destroyed a resident's computer (not recently). Manager Leann Farley (in Wethersfield) probably destroyed my cell phone knowing I'd figure it was Mike Inigo, Jr. as usual. 2 Rebuttal to Sarah Carlson-Allwood I recovered from pharmaceuticals years ago. They were finally tapered. Sarah Carlson-Allwood misdiagnosed autism and PTSD as "schizoaffective, bipolar disorder". Trauma happened. Medicinal cannabis saves lives. I have the license now. It's how I recover. Falsifying medical records is illegal, the authorities just don't care. Sarah Carlson-Allwood vowed revenge because I'm unwilling to suffer from psychiatry, hence the "recommendation": being locked up and tortured at Connecticut Valley Hospital. The safest and most effective medical necessity still prevents paranoia because it's still relaxing. Get over it. Medicinal cannabis is the only way to concentrate, relax, and be motivated after being forcibly drugged since childhood. 3 Refuting Media's Lies About Autism Nobody who downplays autism knows what a spectrum is. The media neglects to mention the severe cases of autism. I know it's usually much worse than what I have. Autism can mean being nonverbal and prone to seizures and wearing helmets and even diapers. Nobody downplaying autism knows about the varying degrees thereof. All degrees of autism are devastating and it didn't simply go unnoticed until recently. The prevalence of autism is rising. It's not increased awareness, it's an epidemic. While TV shows and movies downplay autism, the news indoctrinates the populace to despise autistic people. Having a medical condition has nothing to do with being in a community and autism existed before Reddit. August 2022 An application was sent for better housing in Bristol. Continuum of Care's violations continue escalating. Two staff members, Tanice and Gary, disrespected me by befriending a mailman who threatened to assault me. I finally learned his full name, Milton Jackson. After I explained my difficulty controlling the volume of my voice, the mailman threatened to control it for me. He asked Tanya, who recently began working here, if she controls ms, she explained that she doesn't. Towards the end of August, Gary and Tanice retaliated by befriending Milton Jackson just to spite me. Also, Jess denies the need to add more food to the pantry. At the end of August, food was finally added to the pantry. September 2022 New staff said to give them a chance. The air conditioner remains on in late September. October 2022 The heat's finally on. November 2022 I gave my 30 days notice and moved to Bristol. The conservator had no idea I knew her cell phone number. I sent a text because she never returns my calls. December 2022 For the time being, my mother replaced Attorney Camera as Conservator.
"Take time off of work" LOL
Yes, forever 😂. I am on disability because of Effexor withdrawal, it is hell on Earth.
taking time off work is a terrible advice
Talk it over with your doctor first, who couldn't care less.
Currently on day 3 thinking about going off. Will i have withdraw symptons?
i remember accidentally forgetting to take them or running out, the side effects were awful! i was so ill, felt like death, and couldn't function, i don't think i can come off them 🥲
I was on the smallest dose of the generic version of Lexapro for around a month but one day I decided too just stop because I was already struggling with addiction and I didn’t want too feel as if I depended on something for happiness so I just decided it was not for me and got off it, honestly my doctor didn’t explain anything too me he just said too take them and see how it went. I’ve been off them since the end of January it’s currently June and I’ve struggled with my sleep, feeling any emotion while on them and I felt nothing while having sex so it was a big no no it’s scary how quick they change you I can no longer drink or smoke because I feel no effect at all which makes me feel as if I’m crazy because it was not that long that I was on them, it’s hard for me too cry even when I feel like crying it makes me feel like not me and I’m no longer on them😢 please tell me one day this will fade and I will return too normal
Im on day 3, planning to go off

And as I said, I quited ssri many times and no problem. Wanted to share beacuse a lot of people write they had problem and others may be scared. And in any case I will say I'm a real person, non financed. Just sharing to help people make good decisions. For me other medicines worked very well, especially mood stabilizators and pills for sleeping.
I know for many SSRI works, but for me no, after long time quiting was very easy even thought in Bulgaria I couldn't quit them partially, beacuse they have only 20 mg fluoxetine.
Phantasm
I hate this RUclips channel
I am so much fatigue mainly when I wake up. I am without my exercise gym routine because I wake up too late . Tomorrow I will try to get back my schedule gym
Antidepressant withdrawal is by far one of the most horrible things I’ve went through and I’ve went through it several times and probably will do so again. What angers me most is there are methods like tapering strips that could be utilized but it’s not done hardly at all in the United States. Only the Netherlands has them but they can ship them here. Why is that? I’ll tell you why. Doctors have no interest in getting patients off SSRI’s and neither do the drug companies. If they were concerned about getting patients off they would be looking into this method and we would be alot further ahead then we are now. Doctors and drug companies im sorry to say have no incentive to do so. It’s disgusting and I think morally wrong and it needs to change. We need to start demanding that this method be put into practice to help patients through withdrawal.
I’m sick of SSRIs. Smoke weed instead and stop worrying about what the internet has to say. The internets not even conscious. It’s just a platform for users to hack a coded cryptic digital message worldwide.
Psychiatry Kills !
Good
As someone with bipolar 2 I can tell you it's more of an energy imbalance than periods of low or high moods. My mood can change multiple times in a day, or I can be stable for weeks. Also what is a GP?
